Blue Jays’ Wells may require offseason shoulder surgery
Blue Jays outfielder Vernon Wells will undergo an MRI exam following the season to determine whether he needs surgery on his sore left shoulder.
Batting coach Mickey Brantley said Wednesday that Wells has been bothered by tightness in his shoulder most of the season, blaming it for Wells’ troubles this year.
