Jermaine Dye homered and Juan Uribe hit a go-ahead two-run double in the sixth inning to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 4-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night.
Jon Garland, who has struggled with consistency in July, allowed three runs and 10 hits in 7 1-3 innings. He struck out two and walked one.
Garland (8-7) got out of the seventh with runners on first and third by getting Troy Glaus to pop out.
