There’s little doubt the Blue Jays will score plenty of runs in 2007. Just how many runs Toronto’s patchwork pitching staff allows is another matter.
General manager J.P. Ricciardi beefed up the offense by signing free agent Frank Thomas to a two-year, $18.12 million dollar deal this offseason. Thomas came back from two injury-plagued seasons to have 39 home runs and 114 RBIs last year, helping Oakland to an AL West title.
