Royce Clayton could be seeing time at shortstop and second base for the Toronto Blue Jays next year. “It’s not defined right now that he’s our everyday shortstop,” general manager J.P. Ricciardi said Thursday, a day after agreeing to a $1.5 million, one-year contract. Utility infielder John McDonald also will play a lot at shortstop, as will second baseman Aaron Hill.
